Linda Melvern is a British investigative journalist who for 25 years researched and written extensively about the circumstances of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. She served as a consultant to the Military One prosecution team at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and part of her archive of documents was used to show the planning, financing, and progress of the crime. Her most recent book on the subject is Intent to Deceive: Denying the Genocide of the Tutsi (Verso, 2019).
